We need to fatten him up!

While most people (and a lot of babies) need to go on diets, we've been told that Andrew needs to be fattened up. He really is small - less than 5th percentile for weight. His weight-length ratio is dropping as well... we're needing to put extra powder in his formula, and trying to feed him as much as possible. I think he might have the gift of a fast metabolism - something that neither of his parents are blessed with.

Has his cake and eats it, too!

Andrew celebrated his birthday with his friends at daycare. Everyone is always happy to have cake, no matter what the occassion.

Sugar-high heaven!

Who's no longer a "zero?"

Our little baby turns one! Since Andrew's birthday is on a Monday this year, we decided on an early celebration and took him to the Children's Museum of Denver. The place was packed! We happened to hit on special Easter weekend activities... But, Andrew had a great time, and we came home and had presents and cake at night. The "party" this year was pretty much just the three of us, something that will probably not happen again for many years to come...

Andrew: "Is this the basket that the storke brought me in?"

Andrew: "Hmm... maybe a fireman when I grow up?"

Andrew: "Or a farmer..."

Andrew: "Look, I can plant carrots!"

Andrew: "No, I didn't hit her, and I CERTAINLY didn't make her cry."
Yeah... right!

Mommy and baby take a refreshment break.

Andrew gets into the swing of computers, with his very own keyboard and software!

Andrew: "Finally, I get to do what mommy and daddy does!"

Happy birthday, Andrew!

Bath time!

First haircut

Time to get rid of some of that mane! Andrew get a "chop job" before his first birthday.... and he was such a good boy! Credit the pros at Jack and Jill's Children Salon for getting through the haircut in just a few minutes. By the way, when did giving kids haircuts become a viable business? The store was packed on a Saturday afternoon, and the cuts are more expensive than the ones his daddy gets!

Go bananas, bee-eh-en-eh-en-eh-ess

Andrew certainly likes his fruits, be it bananas, apples, or oranges. This is obviously a trait he picked up from his mother. Here, Andrew exceed his dad's monthly banana quotient in one sitting.

Rubber ducky

Andrew is definitely out growing his old bathtub, but isn't quite big enough to use the normal tub yet. The solution?
