What a small baby!

In the last few days we’ve had a chance to have a few visitors over to see Andrew, and have taken him out on a few occasions. Inevitably, one of the first comments we usually get relates to how small he is. Being a first time parent, I would have suspected that any baby would be considered small… but I think that we now have some proof that Andrew is indeed a small baby!

Doctors typically plot a baby’s growth on charts put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to see how they’re tracking. Based on the information available from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistic, I’ve plotted my own charts (use the tabs on the bottom of the new window to switch charts). They confirm that our little one has a lot of growing up to do! We’ll keep the charts updated as we progress with the well-baby visits. You can get to them through the link on the right. I’ll be cheering for Andrew to climb the percentile ladder!
